When You Arrive
- a key will be left in the door for you to access the property any time after 4pm
- on arrival, there will be welcome provisions including milk a Cornish Cream tea and fresh flowers
- there is an information folder should you need ideas about attractions/restaurants etc.
- departure/check-out is strictly by 10am
- the key is to be left in the front door on leaving the property
- you are asked to leave the house clean and tidy as any unreasonable additional cleaning required may be charged for
The Property
The byre is up a farm lane and is situated in the farm yard. We aim to meet the needs of all our guests, however, due to the nature of the property, access for guests with limited mobility may be difficult, therefor the house is unsuitable.
All rooms are on one level. There is a superking/twin bedroom, which has french doors with 2 steps down that lead out into the enclosed private garden. From the 1 kingsize bedroom there is a small 2 inch step into the hallway.
From where the car is parked, there is one step up onto a pavement and then a smaller step into the threshold of the house.
- there are two external entrances into the house. with two steps into each.
- there are wooden floorboards throughout the house
- the bathroom floor is slate tiles
- the kitchen has an electric over with a 4 ring hob

- the kitchen diner and sitting area is well lit by spotlights and lamps
- the hallway is lit by pendant style lights aswell as lamps
- the bedrooms are also lit by pendant style lights and lamps
- the bathroom is lit by spotlights and mirror lights
- there is a table suitable for 4 guests in the kitchen/dining area, with 4 chairs
- the lounge has a 2 seater sofa and 2 arm chairs
- the lounge also has a freestanding table with a lamp and a small magazine stool
- a flat screen tv with dvd and freeview which sits on a freestanding wheel based trolley
- there is a woodburning stove in the lounge with a fireguard as a surround and a log basket
- in the living/kitchen/dining area the windows are blinds and curtains
- the hallway has curtains
- the surperking/twin has curtains and blinds over the windows
- the kingsize has blinds
- bathroom has a blind at the window
- all rooms have rugs on the floors
- the superking/twin has a chest of drawers
- the kingsize has a chest of drawers and built in wardrobe
- both rooms have bedside tables on each side of both beds
- there is also an arm chair in 1 corner of each room
- in the hallway there is a freestanding lamp with a mirror above
- there are coat hooks over a church pew
- a small chest with drawers also in the hall with a lamp and mirror
- The Bathroom has a 6ft bath tub with over head shower

- to the front of the property is a concrete yard where the car is parked
- to the side of the house the garden is accessed by a small swinging gate and includes a bench seat and 2 wooden reclining deck chairs.
